The Prestige Pug House Health Commitment

At Prestige Pug House, we proudly stand behind the health and wellbeing of every Pug puppy we raise. Each puppy receives a complete veterinary examination before leaving our care, along with official documentation confirming they are healthy at the time of placement. Our goal is to ensure that your new companion begins life with your family in the best possible condition. We strongly recommend that all families schedule a wellness visit with their licensed veterinarian within four (4) days of their puppy’s arrival. Caring for Your New Pug Puppy

Helpful Guidance from Prestige Pug House

Welcoming a Pug puppy into your home is an exciting experience. With patience, routine, and positive reinforcement, your puppy will quickly adjust and become a loving member of your household.Pugs are affectionate, people-oriented companions that respond especially well to consistency and encouragement.

Potty Training Tips for Pug Puppies

Early routine and supervision are the keys to successful house training. Most young puppies need bathroom breaks shortly after meals, naps, or playtime.

⏰ 1. Establish a Consistent Routine

Feed your puppy at regular times each day and take them outside shortly afterward. Frequent breaks—approximately every two hours during early weeks—help build reliable habits.

🎉 2. Reward Success Immediately

Pugs respond very well to praise and small rewards. Celebrate success right away when your puppy uses the correct potty area.

Positive reinforcement builds confidence and faster learning.

👀 3. Watch for Early Signals

Signs your puppy may need a potty break include:

  • Sniffing the floor
  • Walking in circles
  • Restlessness near doors

Guide your puppy outside promptly and reward them afterward.

🚫 4. Stay Calm During Accidents

Accidents are part of early training. Avoid punishment, as it can confuse your puppy. Instead, redirect calmly and reinforce correct behavior when they succeed.

Consistency works better than correction.

🏡 5. Use a Comfortable Resting Space

Crate training or a designated sleeping area can help support house training. Puppies naturally avoid soiling their resting area, which helps them learn bladder control more quickly.

Final Training Tip

Patience, encouragement, and routine create the strongest results. With gentle structure and daily consistency, your Pug puppy will quickly develop good habits and grow into a confident, affectionate companion for your family.
